a. What is the process for Automation Training setup?
Developing the automated training videos is like
movie making with your staff as the stars and your business the location. We
start with a script that your company will provide us, generally written by your
most knowledgeable expert. We can help you write or polish the script, if desired.
Once multiple scripts are finalized, we will go to your company and begin the filming
according to the script. We will need to have assistance from one or more of your
managers / employees and film them performing the actions according to the script.
Next, we will record narration of the script and then edit the video to match the
narration. We will then finalize the video in English and submit it online on a
secure, private link for your management approval. Upon approval, if needed
we can narrate a Spanish version and add quiz questions from the video into our
quiz database. A record is recorded in the database of who took
the quiz, what day and time, and their score. All finished videos and software will be
put on your desktop / laptop / touchscreen device by us at multiple points throughout
the project to keep you up to date with the project. Automated Training can be a big
project (can last 3-6 months), and we want to make sure your happy with how were doing
by showing you the status of the software / videos / photos / quizzes every 2 weeks
or whatever agreed upon time. b. How much does a video cost? It will depend on the length of the script, the time it takes to film, and how long it takes to finish the video. It will be much easier to determine the cost once we talk and find out exactly what you want in the video. The cost of a typical 3 to 5 minute video will most likely be $75-$200. c. How long does it take to finish a video? Again, it will depend on the length of the script and the complexity of what is to be filmed. But usually it should take about 1-2 days after receiving the final script from the company and filming the video. Our videos and narration at each sentence include timed markings making updates and changes much easier than typical video. Also typical video takes many retakes, but since we're typically adding in the narration after the video, often we can shoot the video needed within 2-3 takes instead 5-10 takes. d. What if I am not satisfied with the video once it is done? Again, we will shoot the footage needed for the video according to the script your company created. After we have edited it, according to your script, you will be able to view the video. We will fix and correct any mistakes we made in the video, for example if we left something out or used the wrong footage for a certain part. But, if you would like us to make any changes or additions to the finalized video that were not in your original script, there would be a nominal charge. e. Will filming be disruptive? No, it should not be. We will schedule beforehand with you which day would be the best to film and tell you what is needed. As explained earlier, we will need assistance from one or more of your employees to perform the correct actions for the video. As long as everything is well planned ahead of time, filming should not be of any disturbance. f. What are your credentials? So far, we have completed and have in process nearly 50 training videos for Milum Textile Services with up to 7 languages, our parent company, and have been able to shoot parts of our videos at other businesses, such as hospitals and have twenty more videos committed and in process. Also Cristinas Mexican Restaurants in Dallas, Texas is a customer that we're currently working with and have already 30+ videos, all specs and photos, and are developing quizzes and the remaining 130+ videos! |
